This song without a doubt is one of the most powerful songs that came out this past year. Not only is the song reminiscent of Ed’s former band “Live” Ed sings with passion and conviction that really pierces the listener and helps them understand that God’s Grace is always sufficient for EVERYTHING. That piece of spiritual truth is why I chose it in my top 10.
Here are the rest of the staff’s #9 pick of the top 10 songs for 2010.
The end of the year always brings the “best of lists.” Everything from movies, music, memories, and current events are discussed in the attempt to compile a list of the Top 10. All the staff at Power FM bickered, and fought over completing the “best of list” for music added to Power FM in 2010. Ok, to be honest we didn’t bicker and fight but everyone was running back and forth comparing their lists to each other, and we were all surprised to see who had what. Each day we will count down two songs until we get to the top 5. At that time we will present one song a day until we get to the #1 song. One staff member will be selected to explain why they picked that song to be their favorite and then when we get to the #1 song of the year, we will all share our thoughts on why we picked that song to be our favorite from 2010. Also feel free to discuss with us your favorite songs from 2010 in the comment section below. So now I present to you the 10th song on everyone’s list.
#10 Whitney: Children 18:3 “Oh, Bravo”
“Such a fun band and it’s nice to hear more of Lee Marie’s vocals, and also the song is a nice reminder that God accepts us and He deserves our applause.”
