#1 Dawn- Maylene And The Sons of Disaster: Step Up

I picked the song Step Up from Maylene and the Sons of DIsaster for several reasons. First of all, I love it. It reminds me of 80’s metal music, like AC/DC, but with more of a fun-loving, old-time revival vibe to it. Instead of singing ”I’m on the Highway to Hell”, it’s “Hallelujah, brother, come on in, Amen…” Can’t beat that… Secondly, I watch the staff when it comes on. Everybody working at their desk in the office will turn up the volume on the office intercom phone. We all get a little smile and go, “Aw, man, i love this song…” Finally, I’ve gotten som many calls and emails about it. I know our listeners respond to it really well. It’s just a really fun head-banging kind of rock song. I can’t wait to hear more from these guys…
